The short version: once you redeem your access code, the purchase is final. Before you redeem it, you can have your money back. Everything below explains why the line sits exactly there, and it is a more interesting reason than "company policy".
| Code not yet redeemed | Full refund, within 7 days of purchase. No reason needed. |
| Code redeemed in the app | Final. No refund, in whole or in part, for any unused portion. |
| Charged but no code arrived | Full refund. You paid for something you did not get. |
| Charged twice for one plan | Duplicate refunded in full. |
| Payment you did not authorise | Refunded and investigated. |
| Bought through Apple or Google | Their refund policy applies, not ours. See below. |
| Renewal you forgot about | Cannot happen. Nothing auto-renews. Ever. |
Most companies say a digital purchase is non-refundable because it is convenient for them. For us it is closer to a physical fact, and it comes directly from the thing you are paying for.
When you buy a plan, we issue a blind-signed access code. The signature is made without us ever seeing the code. When you later redeem it in the app, we verify that the signature is ours and unlock your tier — without learning which payment it came from, or which account redeemed it. That is the whole point. It is why your subscription cannot be used to identify you, and it is a guarantee almost no other messenger offers.
The unavoidable consequence: after redemption we genuinely cannot connect your account back to your payment. Not "we would rather not" — we do not hold the link, by design. We cannot confirm what you redeemed, cannot see how much you used, and cannot revoke it from your device. Reversing a redeemed code is not a policy we chose to refuse. It is a thing the architecture makes impossible.
This cuts both ways, and the other way is the reason it is worth it: nobody — not us, not a court order, not a data breach, not a future owner of this company — can look at a payment and tell you which Spojiti account it belongs to. The price of that guarantee is that we cannot undo a redemption. We think that is a good trade, and you should decide before you redeem, not after.
Up to the moment you paste that code into the app, the picture is completely different: the code is unused, we can verify it against your payment reference, and nothing has been unlocked. So:
Our honest advice: try the free tier first. One-to-one messaging, groups, disappearing messages, voice notes, encrypted backup and every safety feature are free forever and always will be. Paying should be a decision you make after the app has already earned it.
These are not concessions. If any of them happen, we did not deliver what you paid for, and you get your money back.
| You were charged and no working code was issued | Full refund. |
| You were charged more than once for the same plan | Every duplicate refunded. |
| The charge was not authorised by you | Refunded, and we will help you with your bank. |
| A paid feature is unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault | We will refund a fair proportion, or extend your term. Your choice. |
| We discontinue a paid feature you bought the plan for | Pro-rata refund for the remainder of your term. |
When a subscription is purchased inside the iOS or Android app, the store is the merchant, not us. We never see the payment, and we cannot refund it even if we want to — the money did not come to us directly, and only the store can reverse it.
Their policies are frequently more generous than this page, including short automatic-refund windows. Nothing here restricts them, and we will not contest a refund the store grants you.
There is nothing to cancel, and that is deliberate. A Spojiti plan is a single yearly purchase. There is no recurring mandate, no stored card, no auto-renewal, no dunning email, and no dark pattern buried three screens deep in a settings menu. When your year ends, it ends. If you want another year, you buy another year.
Nobody has ever been billed by Spojiti without deciding to be, and the system has no mechanism to do it. When your term expires, your account simply returns to the free tier — your messages, contacts and history are untouched. Nothing is deleted, held hostage, or locked behind a renewal.
Email spojiti@spojiti.world with REFUND in the subject line, and include the Razorpay payment id from your receipt.
That id is the only thing we need, and the only thing that works. We hold no name, no phone number, no email on file and no account record tied to you, so we cannot find a payment any other way — and please do not send us personal details in the hope that it helps. It will not, and we would rather not have them.
We acknowledge within one working day and decide within five. If we decline, we will tell you plainly which part of this page we are relying on, and you are free to disagree with us.
Nothing on this page removes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that applies to you. Where a law gives you a stronger remedy than this policy does, the law wins — that is not a courtesy, it is how it works, and a company that pretends otherwise is telling you something about itself.
If you are unhappy with an outcome, write to our Grievance Officer via our support page, subject line GRIEVANCE. Acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days, as required of us.
